Sama organized a three-day capacity building workshop in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, along with Chaupal on 29-31 August 2011. The workshop discussed the linkages between GBV, health and the health system.
The workshop was attended by representatives from 17 organizations working on the issues of women, children, livelihood, food security, land and forest rights, displacement, literacy, environmental concerns vis-à-vis rapid industrialization, violence, health, education, Panchayati Raj Institutions, NREGA, and gender based violence (with particular focus on DV).
